I took my first trip to L.A. in September and like a classic tourist I was taking pictures of EVERYTHING. I lived for many years decorating my life in beige and then in shades of gray. But over the last several years I have begun to embrace color. I love decorating my house and my business in a salmon, pink, yellow, turquoise color scheme. I love dressing my kiddo in bright clothing. Bright colors brighten my day (amazing)! L.A. is bright and warm not just in weather related terms but in the way they paint their buildings. I couldn’t help but stop and snap a pic of every geometric color block mural. I’ll be looking to these to inspire my work over the long winter that is coming for us Northeasterners. Where do you get your inspiration?
