10 Toddler Activity Essentials

My go-to items that I return to again and again

  1. Cookie Tray - Catches all the mess and cleans easily.
  2. Roll of Brown Craft Paper - To cover any surface for easy clean up.
  3. Roll of White Paper - Can be cut to any size so your kiddo always has a surface to get creative.
  4. Blue Painters Tape - Easy to remove so I use it to tape down rolls of paper mentioned above and to temporarily hang artwork.
  5. Watercolors - Child is able to work on developing their fine motor skills, hand eye coordination, and explore color while also producing some beautiful peices to decorate your walls.
  6. Baking Soda & Vinegar - Science experiments using these two ingredients, never gets old.
  7. Food Coloring - Used in so many science experiments (e.g. baking soda and vinegar) and color exploration activities.
  8. Rice & Dry Beans - Used for sensory and transferring activities. Can be easily dyed using vinegar and food coloring.
  9. Mod Podge/Elmers Glue - Used for all those paper craft activities that help a kiddo develop their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  10. Kinetic Sand - Place on cookie tray with small construction vehicles, animals or shovels and buckets.
